2005 — The Beginning
Hunter Storm buys her first motorcycle after completing the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic Rider Course with TEAM Arizona. She immediately continues training: Intermediate, Advanced, Total Control, plus private lessons to master mechanics at her own pace.
2005–2010 — The Training Years
Hunter Storm rides constantly, practicing skills, refining technique, and building confidence. These years form the mechanical foundation of the persona.
2010 — The Second Motorcycle
The moment that would become the persona’s ignition: A taller, heavier, less forgiving bike — the one she rode home in the cold, dark, Scottsdale night after refusing to hand over the keys.
2010–2011 — The Blog Years
Hunter Storm begins writing the original ZStormGirl blog, Riding with ZStormGirl. She documented rides, close calls, lessons, and cultural commentary. The humor emerges here — including the satirical chapter titles that later became the book.
2011 — Motorcycling by Storm: Bikesexual
The blog becomes the memoir. The persona becomes a narrative identity. They combine to become a hilarious book about riding motorcycles and taking on life challenges.
2011–2015 — The Riding Arc
More rides, more stories, more commentary. The persona solidifies.
2024–2026 — Restoration & Narrative Control
With visibility increasing, Hunter Storm restores the ZStormGirl site, contextualizes the persona, and builds the information architecture (IA) needed to protect the narrative.
